maybee you have to set the Soundcard in spdif.conf or something like that ?

man vdr-bitstreamout :

       -D, --hwdev=#,#
              Select the card and the hardware device by  numbers
              provided  by ALSA at /proc/asound/card<#>/pcm<#>p/.

       -c, --card=#,#
              Does the same as the previous option.
