It is to much effort to rip many of them, the dvd-plugins works
unreliable, the dvd-plugins does have a different user interface than
playing vdr recordings, ... There are a lot of reasons for me why I
prefer normal vdr recordings.

It could also be done in the background with the posibility to monitor
the result. Just like cutting is done.
