The problem is solved:

ffmpeg-2003-01-14 crashed (INSIDE libavcodec - seems to be an elementary 
problem)

the ffmpeg-archive that was on the list a few weeks ago regarding the teletext 
plugin works with dxr3, too, and that solved it.

Stefan Schluenss, please put a remark somewhere on the page and the README, 
that no one uses a too new libavcodec for now.
