[vdr] disabling output device

Hello list, all developers,

Does anyone know a way to disable an output device? Primarily the output part
of a full-featured card. As you may know, I'm currently developing a
client/server streaming plugin. I know have my DXR3-Card and so I am able to
test everything properly.

I'd like to simulate a server equipped with a nova-card and for that I'd like
to disable the output part of my full-featured card. The streaming is
supposed to treat all clients equally, maybe the Server even priviledged.

So my fullfeatured card always has one channel in live mode, so the client
will never be allowed to switch transponders. But for example when I leave my
main-vdr, and want to continue watching on the network-client, I'd like to be
able to disable this "permanent consumer" to be able to switch transponders
from the client.

Klaus? Can this be done with current versions?

Greetings,
Sascha Volkenandt
