Because 1.04 works without any serious problem for me and I wanted to try the new fw (ODS-problems goone). So I had to choose between using two new components (1.1.25 and new fw) or just one new component and I deciced just to try the new fw. But since your source- code is good to read I think the modification was almost as fast done as to install the 1.1.25 ;) Maybe, if I see some features I really like to have, I will switch to a new vdr version in future.
