[vdr] Re: Power consumption of Hauppauge cards

It should be possible to measure the overall power consumption of the whole VDR
box with and without the DVB card mounted. The difference should be the power
that the DVB card needs. Could it be that easy ?
Measuring the current with constant voltage gives the power (P=U*I) if I paid
attention in the physics class ;-)
Anyone ever tried this ? Maybe someone with the necessay instrument can do this
test ?
