Hi,

I installed the vdr-1.1.25-AC3overDVB-0.1.4.diff.gz yesterday on vdr
1.1.26 and the patch for the dvd-plugin yesterday. Seemed to work great
- apart from the problem that either my receiver does not decode the
stream when it comes from optical in or that my Conrad coax-optical is
buggy, but this is slightly OT.

I discovered some weird behaviour: With the dvd-0.3.0-Patch installed on
the dvd-0.3.1-plugin my DVD "Ambra" did not start. Compiling the dvd
plugin again without it, playing was possible again. Additionally,
previously I was able to access the "Audio" section in the main menu
without any problems, but now VDR crashes (don´t know if this has to do
with the AC3overDVD-Patch or the bitstream plugin that I installed later
- I made no more modifications).

Are there any compatibility issues known? As I don´t have a VDR system
here, I could give you further details (logs etc.) this evening if you
tell me what logs you would need for checking.

Additionally a general question: Is there a bigger delay when using the
bitstreamout-plugin instead of the AC3overDVB-Patch?

With kind regards

Jörg
