You don't need it. It's an experimantal patch to look how good autopid would 
work. It tries to parse the streaqm information for audio/video/teletext/ac3 
pid's and set it up. So you need only a transponder-list instead of a 
complete channel-list. This is usefull if channels are changing one time and 
another. extreme usefull is it for nvod channels that have one channel for 
showing preview and force capable receiver to switch to the right pid's for 
the given event. Another use of it is , that it has allways all pid's of a 
channel without configure it manually. (if it is working correct) As far as I 
understood it is a testbed for vdr 1.3.x development.
