[vdr] SpinUpDisk - high value
Hello
During on of my recordings I got the log-message
SpinUpDisk took 2.44 Seconds.
Although there've been two recordings active at that time
More than two Seconds are a long time.
I have a Raid0-array consisting of 4 IDE-disks.
The disks are controlled by a Promise-controller that
has it's own IRQ
0: 35388052 IO-APIC-edge timer

2: 0 XT-PIC cascade

During boot-time I use hdparm and the values I get from
hdparm look reasonable:
multcount = 16 (on)
IO_support = 1 (32-bit)
unmaskirq = 1 (on)
using_dma = 1 (on)
keepsettings = 0 (off)
readonly = 0 (off)
readahead = 8 (on)
Has anybody any tip or suggestion?
Regards
Wolfgang
