[vdr] How to stop the key-learning mode of vdr?

I started to use the new version 1.1.28 of vdr with the latest
DVB-drivers, everything compiled and started well. After start, vdr
goes into key-learning mode, which still seems to be ok. I teached a
lot of keys (just from the keyboard), getting a good feedback from
/var/log/messages but after a while there is no more answer or
reaction, it seems to hang. I restarted vdr again -> same procedure, it
stopped again, but this time at another key.

My question is: is there any key or procedure to stop the learning mode
of vdr at a defined point? I put a remote.conf into the
/video-directory to never let the learning mode start, but this is also
not successful, it goes still into the learning mode.

If there is no possibility for stopping the learning mode, how about
implementing this as a feature (e.g. by pressing the "Menu"-key next
time after this key is already learned).

TIA and best regards

Michael
