[vdr] volume level dvb-s driver

hello list.

how can i change the base volume level in vdr? compared with the line out 
of a cd player or a radio tuner, the volume of the line out of the dvd-s 
card is much lower. so even with full volume up in vdr i have to change the 
volume of my external amplifier. when loading the old driver the test 
channel was shown with audio and it was much louder than now even with full 
volume in vdr. so the dvb-s card should be able to deliver more volume. is 
there any compiler parameter which sets the base volume of the driver ?. or 
a vdr setting which does something similar?
