I never tried the Radio Times grabber.
In the end it did work perfectly, but took about 2 hours to get 14 day listings for 8

Cool.

I shudder to think about getting listings for the full SkyDigi packages, etc.
Doesn't matter, really, since we can't use the NDS (Sky) encrypted channels anyway.

  a) the Ananova listings tend to change
I thought the point of the Ananova grabber was that Ananova itself offers listings in a raw
XML format, which the xmltv parser then just transcodes into its own XML format ?
Yes. Annanova supply the data in a more machine readable format, which is handy. However, I've noticed that as time moves on, then can alter the times of programmes (i.e. the schedule itself).

I don't know if the VDR XMLTV plugin copes with this. Hopefully, it will delete any older programme data before it writes the new (so you don't get duplicates). Mind you, this could screw-up an existing recording schedule. :(

  b) MotorsTV (my favourite channel!) isn't listed
Ah yes, I think I've seen MotorsTV and shuddered at the appalling MPEG artefacts as they pan
round a racetrack at high speeds :) It makes me think of early Indeo/Cinepak .AVI clips on
'486 Multimedia PCs', actually :)
Yeah, the bitrate is far too low, but I'm willing to live with it. Where else can I get live BTCC and DTM, along with loads of highlights of round-the-world racing?! :)
