[vdr] Firewire Video IN for VDR ?

Hi all

I own a Panasonic-Camcorder with Firewire out - and when i connect it to my
Windows-PC i can record the digital Movie from the Camcorder to my hd.

As my VDR also have Firewire i think about if itīs possible to record
and playback It by VDR/Linux

does anyone know anyhting about it ?
