[vdr] R: runlevelscript for vdr

I usually start it from /etc/rc.d/rc.local, what do you mean with
runlevelscript?
I use a python script instead of runvdr bash script, but only because python
is clearer than bash, al least for me.
I tried to move it earlier, at the beginning of rc.M but it doens't gain
much and I have to load some module before anyway.
If I recall right Klaus start it from inittab but I found it makes debug
difficult.

If you are worried by boot time, you can try linuxbios and parallel script
execution. I'm planning to try both.
