The OSD is scaled wrongly ( := it is too big to fit on the screen) on
initialization. After starting to play a recording (or starting a

with the streamdev plugin), it is correctly scaled.
I see the same problem if I startup vdr with a radio channel.
Try this patch, it reverses part of the 0.2.0 changes which removed
the output of a black video frame.
Hi folks,
I've also got issues with the OSD scaling. However, I also experienced
this with the previous version of the Dxr3 plugin and VDR 1.1.3x.
I've just tried my system with the latest dvb-kernel (from CVS), VDR
1.2.1, and the latest Dxr3 plugin. It works well enough on the UK
DVB-T channels, but when I select MotorsTV (on DVB-S), the OSD is
either too wide or too narrow. The scaling is also incorrect if I
flick to a correctly-scaled DVB-T channel, then back to the DVB-S
channel.
I have the exact same problem with or without this patch.
In addition, the whole OSD seems a touch too far to the right for my
liking - is it possible to reposition it slightly?
Cheers,
