No, this effect is described in the HISTORY:
  - side effects:
    - observed timers with ":" in the name will cause unnecessary timer
updates because the ":" will cause an inequality between timer title
      and event title.

Just call it a bug (and there may be some more characters causing this update)
it should disappear with version 0.91 because the event/recording title will
no longer be a criteria for updates, CheckTimers (which is responsible for the
useless updates) will no longer update the title of an observed (-> "auto")
timer.

GRIN! That's what I intended ;-)

Yes it is possible, just by adding another "language" -- like "Deutsch
Minimal" or so. The main thing is to rework the template files (and all the
template files, which makes it very time intensive but not complicated).

I don't think I will get to this within the next weeks, but it could be done
by a volunteer with a minimum knowledge of Perl-HTLM-Templates (we're using
only some very few commands, nothing complicated, just have a brief look at
http://www.hk8.org/old_web/linux/cgi/ch06_03.htm) and nearly no perl knowledge.

Is there someone?

Bye,
