[vdr] vdr-1.2.1, dxr3-0.2.0 can't replay recordings

Hello,

Since I upgraded to vdr-1.2.1 and dxr3-0.2.0 I have had problems
replaying recordings.  When I try to replay I get a second or so of play
and then everything freezes.  I can get a non-moving status display by
pressing OK, and I can get the menu up OK but nothing more of the
recording plays.

These recordings play OK with mplayer, so I don't think it is a problem
with the recordings themselves.

There is nothing in the logs while vdr is recording (besides the
obvious), nothing in the logs while the frozen replay is sitting there.

Can someone suggest how I can try to find out what is going wrong here? 
(I assume others don't have this problem with their dxr3/vdr setups!)
