we had a discussion here 2-3 month ago with andreas, the problem is
inside the dvd plugin, the stillimage i-frame routine does not always
detects where a to stop (afair) and he was absolute shure that he won´t
fix that

btw. no problems with mpeg-sound on dvd (most use ac3 2.0 and 5.1)?
i got no sound wich such dvd´s (my own and industrial one´s)
