[vdr] Re: Aston 1.05 ... not quite there

What I would need to see is whether VDR sends these descriptors to the CAM when
you switch to an encrypted channel (see above)

Here you have a sample

...

--> 00 01 A0 01 01
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00
. . . . . .

Here I select an encoded channel....

--> 00 01 A0 2D 01 90 02 00 03 9F 80 32 24 03 76 C0 01 00 14 01 09 11 01 00 E5 DC 00 64 FF 00 00 00 00 08 01 00 06 1B 11 00 00 A0 00 00 00 00 50 00 00
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00
. . . . . .
--> 00 01 A0 01 01
<-- 00 01 80 02 01 00
. . . . . .
...
CloseSession 00000001
CloseSession 00000002
CloseSession 00000003
CloseSession 00000004
Resetting slot 0...ok.

Well, apparently VDR does send the descriptors - I'm afraid then I don't
know why it doesn't decrypt.

Does it work with the '-icam' firmware?

With -icam software it does not work at all. Here you can see the log:

BTW: when sending log file excerpts, please don't wrap them (I had to edit your
lines to make them easily readable).

Sorry about the wrapping, it should be fixed by now [:-(]

Yes, and if you could post in plain text rather than HTML, it would be even better ;-)

Done.

Thanks,

Miguel
