I also wished Premiere would give us English DD but obviously they don't. The 
one DD stream is , as you guessed, in German. So either English stereo or 
Germand 5.1 sound. :(

So you may want to save the money for the subscription and rent (and "backup" 
in a .vdr compatible format) some DVDs instead. Doesn't cost much more than a 
"Direkt" movie but provides lotsa more features. Just my opinion ;)
