Since there have been some problems with pre-release 1.2.3
I have uploaded a new maintenance release 1.2.4.
Before I upload this to the official release directory I would
appreciate if some of you could find the time to look over it in
the VDR Developer directory.
The complete VDR version 1.2.4 is available for download at

The files

contain the complete 'diff' between versions 1.2.2 and 1.2.4 (or version
1.2.3 and 1.2.4, respectively), in case you want to apply the individual
fixes to an existing (maybe patched) installation (of course the line
numbers may be off then, but I thought providing the 'diff' might be useful).
The changes since version 1.2.3 are:
- Fixed 'runvdr' to stay in the loop only if VDR returns an exit status of '1'.
- Completed the Finnish OSD texts (thanks to Rolf Ahrenberg).
- Empty values in setup.conf are no longer treated as an error (thanks to Andreas
Kool for reporting this one).
- Added a note about the config files of plugins to INSTALL (thanks to Thomas
Keil).
- VDR now continues to start up, even if there is an error in setup.conf.
- Fixed a bug in resetting OSD color palettes (thanks to Torsten Herz).
- Fixed starting a recording on the primary device if there is a replay session
active (thanks to Javier Marcet for reporting this one).
- Avoiding an unnecessary stop of an ongoing Transfer Mode when starting a
recording on the primary device.
If nobody finds any serious problems with this new version I'd like
to officially release it by wednesday.
