No, it isn't. We all had problems somewhen to get DVB/VDR up and
running.

Sometimes there seems to be a segfault when unloading modules, but it
shouldn't occur while use and never broke the machine for me.

I've set up a server with three Satelco Standard PCI DVB-S (= Hauppauge
WinTV Nova-S). It's running Mandrake 9.1 (kernel
2.4.21-0.25mdkenterprise on a P4c 2.4 GHz (FSB800, HT, 1024 MB RAM).

Please post your console- and logging-messages.
