did you try the -ll version with my recently posted patch?
Well, at first not - i tried with the -ll version but even
cold reboot did bring no success. Then I used the icam-version
and that was it. Seems to work reliable.
Please take VDR 1.2.5pre2, the latest CVS driver (both available
in ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/vdr/Developer) and apply this patch
to VDR/dvbdevice.c:
..... stuff deleted
With this version please try receiving encrypted channels, once leaving 'CaMode'
at the value 'false', then setting it to true.
Can you observe a different behaviour in the two cases?
Does it work in any of them?
Sorry for the bad news. But neither with CaMode = true nor with CaMode = false
I could tune to any encrypted channel. The screen remained black, not even sound.
I had to revert to -icam and hw_sections = 1 :-(
I just want to add something I found out in the meantime ( -icam - Version):
If I start the editing-session when tuned to an encrypted channel, this
channel is even after the editing-session ok. But all other channels
are lost. For example I tried with our three Swiss channels.
Starting edit-session while tuned to SF1 I had afterwards still SF1
but all other Swiss channels were lost. I could even swith between
the channels. SF1 was stable. No other Swiss channel available.
Starting edit-sessison while tuned to SF2, I had afterwards still SF2
but all other Swiss channels were lost. Once i had a recovery of all
channels after about half an hour, but that happend only once and I
tried with many edit-sessions.
My summary: No matter what channel is tuned: If it is an encrypted
channel, this very channel remains stable after the edit-session.
If not tuned to an encrypted channel, all channels are lost.
So it must be something very little but hard to trace.
regards
Wolfgang
