since almost every station uses vbr u cant tell how much it will save,
and not always dd means 5.1, so i can tell you this as a rule of thumb:
AC33+2+lfe (5.1) usually 448kbit/sec, AC3 Stereo usually 168kbit/sec and
192kb/s is also found sometimes.
so assuming an average of 2.5-3.5 mbit this comes to 4-20% of the overall
data, while most movies from 1995 onwards have ac3 3+2+lfe you will save
about 8-11% by switching it off, but like said that all depends ..
