[vdr] Re: CAM Aston 1.05 workaround

Hi,

I'm collecting experience in using vdr-1.2.2 (LLFirmware).

It works fine, as previously described, but I found two problems:

When I record an encrypted channel, audio is corrupted or I cannot hear
it at all, but the recording is fine. I think it is connected to the an
old, problem: if I try to replay a recording while tuned on an encrypted
channel, I get the same problem. I can't figure out what it could be.

Since SKY acquired TELE+ in Italy, 50% of times I switch to an encrypted
channel I get a message (also with -icam firmware) "No right to watch
this program" even if channel is correctly decrypted; maybe it is due to
the mismatched provider name (TELE+ vs SKY), but I do not know. This is
annoying because vdr often, not always, crashes (SEGFAULT) when I close
the OSD message by pressing Menu or Ok.

About the possibility of Aston CAM to decrypt more than one audio pid,
I'm still waiting for further explanations from ASTON.

Bye
