It does - one in overlay-mode (you need a 768x576 modeline) and 
any resolution in Xv-Mode including deinterlacing, i'am currently thinking 
about integrating the one mode of dscaler that looks better but it eats some 
cpu...

If only beamers (and light bulbs) would become resonably-priced :-(
The cheap ones only barely have TV-resolution and are not acceptable in 
quality, after working years i hi-resolution mode XGA would also a step back 
for me - Let's go UXGA ;-)
