[vdr] aspect ratio (mpeg/dvd) ..

problem:

playing a dvd (menu) mpeg which is 16:9,
but which must being displayed at 4:3 (menu constraints).

till now, i just set the aspect ratio bit right in the mpeg
stream ..

but - of course, this results in a wrong shape, e.g. a 100% circle
is an elipse with h>w.

well, now i am looking either to set up the mpeg decoders aspect,
e.g. with SET_DISPLAY_FORMAT (did not worked), 
 or to set the window position right in the mpeg stream (x-offset)
of the sequence_... ??

my problem is, that i need a sample code, how to find this
special sequence where the window offset is included,
or just to add one such sequence on the fly..

any idea/help ?

a standalone player, e.g. makes this CROP to CENTER 4:3 thingy..
