[vdr] mplayer and .wmv

Hi all,

just a small question:

When trying to watch a .wmv-movie, the sound is choppy.
Picture is okay. Do I have to install some special codec
for playing mmv-files ?

BTW: is it possible to pause and resume a divx-movie via remote ?
Sorry, if this is a FAQ, but I found nothing about this.
