I tried this but didn't get perfect colour output.
There seemed to be a solarisation effect, as though the TV chip only had a
limited colour depth.
I also had problems with the board I had (a Jetway
BN860T - effectively an EPIA but with a Celeron 1300MHz chip) using too much CPU
playing MPEG2 videos. In the end I cheated and bought an EPIA-M motherboard
instead (which uses the viafb driver). Bit of a getout I know!
Colours are much better with the TV chip on that
board - but the frame size isn't completely right yet, and I don't think the
deflicker filter is turned off which means that video output isn't perfect. But
I'm sure it can be tweaked!
