your card appearently doesn't feature an onbaord mpeg decoder similiar to the 
"nova" cards for satellite tv.
However, VDR expects a so called full featured card (with onboard mpeg 
decoder).  But you can "fool" VDR by using the softdevice plugin for example. 
The plugins decodes the DVB stream by software and thus you can use VDR the 
same way as with a fullfeatured card.
