I think I am experiencing the second problem... the audio delay is not
consistent (different at the beginning of the video as compared to the
middle or the end). I have logged the debug output (from -d) of
vdrsync.pl to a file. Should I email that to you directly?

I tried ProjectX but it made a complete mess out of the file. The
resulting audio file from the demux was about 80KB when it should've
been several megs.
Does Pvastrumento run under Linux? I was under the impression that it
was a Windows app. I was happy to see that I could run ProjectX under
Linux, however it just makes a mess of the demux.
