I just upgraded to kernel 2.6.6 with some better optimizations, and
tested it with the newest dvd drivers from CVS.
My /proc/interupts looks like this:
$ cat /proc/interrupts
CPU0
0: 681547 IO-APIC-edge timer
2: 0 XT-PIC cascade
4: 198 IO-APIC-edge serial
8: 0 IO-APIC-edge rtc
14: 8729 IO-APIC-edge ide0
15: 8149 IO-APIC-edge ide1
16: 0 IO-APIC-level uhci_hcd
17: 47208 IO-APIC-level saa7146 (1)
18: 1384240 IO-APIC-level uhci_hcd, saa7146 (0)
19: 0 IO-APIC-level uhci_hcd
20: 43487 IO-APIC-level eth0, ohci1394
23: 0 IO-APIC-level ehci_hcd
NMI: 0
LOC: 681307
ERR: 0
MIS: 0
$
It seems not to matter to which uhci_hcd I connect the external DVB
device, there alwas appear errors like these:
May 10 20:17:35 vdr kernel: ttusb_process_muxpack: muxpack with incorrect checksum, ignoring

and the recording get completely defective.
Please suggest what I could do to get this running.
Thank you.
