Well my fault, RTFM, obviously I needed to patch the xine sources, sorry!

Great piece of sw, thanks a lot! Now I can get DVI quality from my beamer.

I have two issues.
At my rightmost side I see some kind of stripe of black and white 
flicker. It's very small, just like a pixel column or so, but annoying 
on dark frames. Is it possible to define some sort of clipping rect to 
mask the frames?

When vdr shows material recorded in 16:9 my fb device shows the 
underlying console picture on top and bottom part of the screen. Any 
ideas how to mask these?
