[vdr] on pressing "r" kvdr adds timer instead of recording

hello,

on pressing the key "r" or the the function key "f1" (red key on rc) vdr adds a timer instead of recording the current video stream. this happens for special movies, bevore or after that movie everything is fine on the same service. my idea was, that maybe a wrong time is send with that movie so that vdr thinks, the movie will be send in the future.
is there any way to tell vdr (over kvdr) to start recording NOW without setting a timer or something else?
(i use vdr 1.2.6, kvdr 0.62, linux 2.6.6)
