The base idea is quite simple: KCDProc provides a so called curses driver that 
implements the display on the terminal. I have slightly changed this driver 
to redirect the output additional to the serial port. For this there is a 
small patch included. On the palm there is a small application to called 
vdrpanel that receives and displays the data . Additionally vdr can be 
controlled by it. 

A pitty, i wanted to use it over wlan :(
