Are you using a FF card? I bet that if you use the mplayer plugin to
playback the edited vdr recordings, that it would be in sync again.
The A/V interpolation in the mpeg chip on the av7110 based boards just
dont seem to work right.
Yes, I use a FF card for playing my recordings, but I'm not using the
mplayer plugin for that. Is it a big job in switching the built-in
player to mplayer?
I noticed that you had problems with edited VDR-files (thread:
http://linuxtv.org/mailinglists/vdr/2004/12-2004/msg00965.html). Could
this be something related?
The problem I noticed is that the first part of the recording _before_
the first cutmark is in sync, but the next section is not. It looks like
each cutmark gives a bit more "off-syncness" to the final version of the
edited recording.
Yes, I have a feeling that our threads are definitly related. Mplayer
is just a temporary solution for a long term problem. It appears that
after the second cut mark, vdr is causing audio loss to the edited
video. This appears to be why vdrsync locks up at the location of the
second cut mark.
Regards.
