[vdr] Re: DD AC3 and 1.3.19 broken?

Hi,

I have 1.3.19 + DVB 26.12.04 + Debian sarge. Also tried with DVB
drivers 02.02.05, outcome the same.
When I switch to DD (Pro7) I only hear very high creaking from my
Cambridge Soundworks DTT 3500 (sound card Audigy Platinum connected
through Digital DIN).
I have spdif cable connected from DVB - SoundCard.

It used to work fine with bitstreamout, but unfortunately this plugin
can't be used anymore.

Never tried the AC3ovdrDVB patch, because bitstreamout worked fine.

What you guys think, can this problem can be fixed or I'll never hear DD
again :-)

Kent,

Yes, VDR 1.3.19 with Kernel 2.6.8 (SuSE 9.2) and CVS drivers from 2
weeks ago runs without problems here on a Yamaha DSP A5 - and even seems

to run better than any previous version I used with AC3overDVB patch...
sorry!

With kind regards

Joerg
