I just installed VDR fresh on a debian machine (also fresh install). I followed hooch’s step by step procedure,

including downloading and installing the script that switches the install to support NTSC. But when I run VDR, I get a scrolling black screen with the date/time on the right, and the test VDR startup sequence for a brief moment in the middle. I am assuming that it is still in PAL. Hardware is a Hauppauge Nexus-S Rev 2.3
