[linux-dvb] Dvb-T card seen as a DVB-S

just bought a usb dvb-t card for the first time, i compiled your dvb
drivers, found the needed firmware, plugged the card (power led truned on)
everything was allright until now... i'm trying to scan channels but i
have this error (using ./scan):
WARNING: frontend type (QPSK) is not compatible with requested tuning
type (OFDM )
ERROR: initial tuning failed
Here is what i get from dmesg, when pluging the card in :

dibusb: This device has the Thomson Cable onboard. Which is default.
dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 150 msecs.
dvb-usb: DiBcom USB1.1 DVB-T reference design (MOD3000) successfully
initialized and connected.
usbcore: registered new driver DiBcom based USB Budget DVB-T device
I guess everything here is normal...
i can't remember if i got the firmware from the web interface extractor
from windows drivers or from the mandriva rpm... any idea would be
