[linux-dvb] cinergyT2 problems

I'm using the "cinergyT2" module on "Linux 2.6.16-gentoo-r3"
and didn't have any such stability problems.
Neither with "vlc" -- which I'm normally using for DVB-T playback --
nor with "mplayer".

Looks like the hub is disconnected before the device!
Can you rule out hardware/power problems?

Maybe you should consider updating to a more recent kernel version,
though I haven't found anything in the v2.6.15..v2.6.16 diff that
explicitly addresses this problem for "cinergyT2".
But quite a lot (general) usb patches have gone into the 2.6.16 kernel,
I think.

Furthermore it might make sense to eliminate "input layer problems" by
simply building the module without RC support.
