Michael, well done and muchly appreciated :D Works very nicely so far.
I'll enjoy some quality tv viewing tonight to ensure that everything is
stable. Here is the dmesg output

CORE cx88[1]: subsystem: 18ac:db50, board: DViCO FusionHDTV DVB-T Dual
Digital [card=44,autodetected]
TV tuner 4 at 0x1fe, Radio tuner -1 at 0x1fe
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:03.2[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 18
cx88[1]/2: found at 0000:02:03.2, rev: 5, irq: 18, latency: 32, mmio:
0xee000000cx88[1]/2: cx2388x based dvb card
DVB: registering new adapter (cx88[1]).
DVB: registering frontend 1 (Zarlink ZL10353 DVB-T)...
cx2388x v4l2 driver version 0.0.6 loaded

The bad news for me is that I'm now having more USB issues (which
started before applying you latest patch). The USB part is not showing
up *at all* in dmesg whenever I reboot or "make reload" or plug the
cable in/out. Hopefully it's just a bit of user error...
