Does that mean that Manu has no intentions to get
his multiproto API changes merged?

(If so, then wtf was the point of doing them and keep
everyone waiting? But I guess the "DVB API update" thread
meant he isn't happy with it anymore.))

Prior to your involvement in this thread I wasn't aware that
the HVR4000 driver was ready for _months_ and was just
waiting for Manu. I can understand why your level of
frustration is so high.

But the whole thing is totally idiotic, because the
deal after the giant multiproto discussions last year
was to get *one* driver ready to prove the API works.
If HVR4000 did that, then the whole thing should've been
merged months ago.

Could you please outline what your plans are wrt the API?
