*Device/drivers previously (?) suffered from a problem. The USB DVB-T tuners seem to occasionally "disconnect" and reconnect during a tuning operation, this causes the kernel to oops requiring a reboot. Should be fixed now. *USB Disconnect problem has not been fixed yet (this might not be the case, see above). See the linux-dvb mailing list for details. On my system, the USB disconnect doesn't require a reboot, just unloading the modules and reloading them restores it. The problem is annoying enough that approx 5 out of 40 recordings per week could be lost.
*Scanning (or tuning with any AUTO parameters) is known to be broken in kernel 2.6.20, and probably earlier kernels too.  Fixed in kernel 2.6.21; try [[http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb?cmd=changeset;node=4e0f277a01f1;style=gitweb this patch]] for older kernels. 
* A new version appears to have been released (in the UK at least) which as of writing this (26/07/2007) doesn't work with the normal Nova-T 500 driver.  The card is labelled with the 'Diversity' feature stickers and the actual model number on the board is Nova-TD 500.  The card has two aerial connectors.
