A DVB-S IEEE1394 device (also known as FireWire) from Elgato that is intended for Apple Computer based systems.
It is unsupported under Linux.
Overview/Features
With Antenna in, FireWire And Common Interface. There is a model without Common Interface called EyeTV 300. Both are OEM versions of a device called FireDTV S/CI MCE made by Digital Everywhere.
The MacOS-X Software is quite well-designed, maybe it's worth a look as source of inspiration for other DVB application developers and GUI designers.
