Just loaded mythtv on Ubuntu 8.04LS on a Dell inspiron 1525.
For some reason I cannot access the database.
I have verified that the mysql database is running and have attempted to use the backend setup but have had no success in accessing or creating/filling the database.
For some reason I cannot login to the database...
I am running an N series dual core 1.84MHz Intel processor with 2GB ram and plenty of hard drive space.
One screen does say it isn't able to find any "backend UPnP devices" although I have the DViCO FusionHDTV7 USB plugged into an available slot and can see it using the terminal command lsusb. Here is the output from that command.
