I' have called to TVISTO in Madrid (Spain), I asked for DVB-T dongles and they said that they only can remember 2 usb models. The white one, documented here and the black one in unknown devices. Maybe the E3C EC168 is the black one, but, there is a mismatch between the product case saying Linux supported and the wiki page of E3C saying that isn't supported. |

Tested with Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 2, only needed to add the firmware dvb-usb-af9015.fw and it works perfect. I used 4.95.0 firmware version. | |||

I've found a USB ID: 18b4:fffa. It has MXL5003S and a E3C EC168 X***98501T" (I couldn't read all numbers, they were deleted). In reverse (inside in the circuit) It has "4407 ver 2.0" |
Unknown TVISTO devices
As 28 of December 2008 this is the image that TVISTO has on his webpage of their dongle:

Anyone has it and can share the USBID?, also if someone can identify the design with another dvb-t usb please edit this page. Can this be the E3C EC168 based TVISTO?
For now I have found it in Carrefour at Spain, the same one where I bought the Geniatech based TVISTO. It costs 30€. In the backside case is show Linux as supported operating system, don't specify kernel version, also a tux icon is shown in front.
