I'have talk with pepejose, the user who reported the e3c based tvisto, he says that the e3c based is visually the same that the afatech 9015 based. If the information of tvisto is right they only have had two models, the white and the black one. There is 3 tvisto usb devices at this time. - [[User:Howl|howl]] 01:34, 2 February 2009 (CET) |

For now I have found it in Carrefour at Spain, the same one where I bought the Geniatech based TVISTO. It costs 30€. In the backside case is show Linux as supported operating system, don't specify kernel version, also a tux icon is shown in front. |

TVISTO was a brand property of Electro Global Sources, a Taiwanese company. Most products where keyboards, speakers, webcams and some adapters, but for our purpose the only tuners they manufacturer were DVB-T USB.
At least four different USB devices has been found but all of them seems to have the same model name, TVT-DVBTUSB, and more strange the same EAN number, 8436040790861. Each device found is absolutely different, only two of them share the same appearance but the inside is radically different.
If you find a new TVISTO DVB-T USB stick fell free to add it in the Template:USB_Device_Data with vendor value TVISTO and will appear also here automagically. As the model name seems to be the same for all of them, the actual id for the devices is tvisto followed with the chip name and colour or alternative model name that could be found in the device itself when another with the same chip exists.

TVISTO TVT-DVBTUSB3 | ✔ Yes, in kernel since 2.6.28 | USB2.0 | Afatech AF9015, Microtune MT2060 | dvb-usb-af9015.fw | Tuner and demodulator guessed from official driver.
TVISTO TVT-DVBTUSB4 | ? | ¿0bda:2831? USB2.0 | ¿Realtek 2831U? | Seen in the official vendor page saved in Web Archive.
TVISTO TVT-DVBTUSB1 | ✔ Yes, in kernel since 2.6.33 | 18b4:fffa USB2.0 | MXL5003S, E3C EC168 | It has MXL5003S and a E3C EC168 X***98501T" (I couldn't read all numbers, they were deleted). In reverse (inside in the circuit) It has "4407 ver 2.0" |
The AF9015 based models should work "out of the box" in case the firmware (dvb-usb-af9015.fw) is present, if not usually only the firmware must be provided.
The White EC168 based model "might" work with experimental drivers. See E3C EC168. If you own such a device please add that information here or directly in our device database Template:USB_Device_Data#tvisto-ec168.
There is possible that the actual unknown device "TVT-DVBTUSB4" could be a Realtek 2831U based one with usb id 0bda:2831 (ID 0bda:2831 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. 2831U Device) as seen in a blog that cannot be linked here because the spam filter.
