DVB-T stands for Digital Video Broadcasting via Terrestrial radio.
This is Digital Video Broadcasting for broadcasting of Digital TV via terrestrial Antenna (indoor / roof).
DVB-T transmissions have already started in some countries (UK, Australia, Germany, Finland). France would start Free To Air DVB-T broadcast in March 2005 (in MPEG2) and Pay Per View broadcast in Septembre 2005 (in MPEG4).
