A DVB-S2 demodulator produced by STMicroelectronics.
There appears to be a few different variants of this chip:
- STV0900
- STV0900/3 (could this be a mis-reading of the chip identifier: /3 ~~ B ?)
- STV0900B
STV0900/3
Features
(Each demodultor can handle): • DirecTV and DVBS QPSK • DVBS2 QPSK, 8PSK and 16APSK • Digital Nyquist root filter • With 0.20, 0.25, 0.35 excess bandwidth factors. • DVB-S or DirecTV • DVB-S2 broadcasting (CCM) • DVB-S2 adaptive (ACM) • Dual decoding • Up to 180 Mega DVB-S2 channel bits per second (Mcbps) at input to FEC • Up to 130 Mcbps DVB-S or DirecTV legacy per FEC • Legacy DVB-S • DVB-S2 • Dual data to MPEG decoder • Single ACM data to microprocessor • DVB-S2 framing • DiSEqC™ 2.0 22 kHz to 100 kHz interface
