A DVB-C Demodulator. Formerly produced by VLSI Semiconductor. Successor is the TDA10021 produced by Philips Semiconductor.
A Linux driver exists but is known to have problems in some networks with high-order modulation schemes like QAM-128 or QAM-256.
Used e.g. on the Siemens and Technotrend DVB-C cards with onboard MPEG-decoder.
